Love & Logic for Kids with Attachment/ Behavioral Difficulties
Tuesdays, 6-7:30; starts 8 Sept, 16 weeks; $560 (payable weekly, $35)
This is not your typical Love & Logic class….This is Love & Logic from an Attachment perspective! Our classes are taught by a Master’s Level Licensed Therapist who specializes in Attachment & Trauma issues, particularly as they relate to children who have been adopted. Please join us for a 16 week class on Tuesdays from 6-7:30 pm beginning on September 8, 2009 for an opportunity to learn about behavioral issues in children, how their brains work differently when stressed, and how to deal with these issues effectively and peacefully! No more yelling, no more time outs and more importantly no more frustration because nothing seems to work! Please note that this will be a closed group (meaning after the first class no one new will be joining us) so that parents can also be a support system for one another. There will be a psycho-educational component, a natural consequences component (Love & Logic) and a question and answer period at each meeting, for finding out specific strategies for your unique situations. Class fee is $35 per week
